In late 2024, the Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland change partnership (LLR CP) came together create a “coproduction charter”. The objective was to develop and common understanding of coproduction and a shared approach to partnership working.
To create a coproduction charter, we held a series of workshops with:
- Local authorities
- Health commissioners and providers
- Parent carer forums
and addressed the key questions about what we wanted coproduction to mean across LLR. We reviewed definitions of coproduction and charters from other organisations and the answers to the questions we asked were used to generate our LLR Coproduction Charter
